Live Art Dance Seeks Treasurer 

Live Art Dance is seeking someone with an interest in the arts and financial skills to join the board 
and act as treasurer for the organization.

For the past four decades, Live Art Dance has been Atlantic Canada’s premier presenter of
contemporary dance. Our mandate is to deliver an annual contemporary dance series featuring diverse
works from Canadian and international dance artists. Our vision is to be nationally recognized as the
leading provider of, and advocate for, contemporary dance in Atlantic Canada. Locally, we strive to be a
catalyst for a vibrant and healthy dance ecology in Nova Scotia, and we are grateful to our board
members for helping us make it happen!

On our Board, we value a passion for dance, arts advocacy, teamwork, diversity, and a desire to actively
engage in our events and with the community.

For Board positions, we seek people who can give the time, energy and expertise to create a real impact
for Live Art Dance and the arts in our province. 

We meet regularly for Board and Committee work, scheduled around members’ availability.
