Would you like to be part of the governing body of CPA Nova Scotia? 

In advance of the Annual General Meeting to be held on June 20, 2023, we are opening the call for nominations for election to the Board of Directors.  This year, there are two positions to be filled. 

At CPA Nova Scotia we value diversity, equity, and inclusion. We strongly encourage nominations from all qualified candidates, including persons who identify as racially visible, Indigenous, persons with disabilities, women in underrepresented roles and members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community. We have also identified the following as areas where the current Board composition could benefit from additional expertise in: 

• Academia 
• Public practice (firms of any size) 

We encourage all members to consider nominating a fellow CPA or to seek nomination. The By-Laws currently provide for a three-year term on the board, renewable once by re-election.  Any nominee should be willing to serve a minimum of three years.
